What to Expect at Camp

Our holiday camps are built around three things: skill development, physical activity, and fun. Each session is led by the experienced Dulwich Sharks coaching team and structured to keep players engaged from start to finish.

Here is what a typical camp day looks like:

Warm-up and movement drills — getting bodies ready and building coordination

Skill stations — focused work on dribbling, passing, shooting, and footwork

Small-sided games — applying skills in a competitive but supportive setting

Full court scrimmages — game-time experience and tactical awareness

Cool-down and debrief — coaches provide feedback and reinforce the day's learning

Every session is planned with progression in mind. Over the course of a camp, players do not just repeat the same drills — they build on what they have learned each day.

Who Is the Camp For?

Our holiday camps are open to boys aged 10–15 of all skill levels.

Beginners will be introduced to the fundamentals in a welcoming, pressure-free environment.

Intermediate players will refine their technique and learn how to apply their skills in game situations.

More experienced players will be challenged with advanced concepts and higher-level competition within sessions.

Our coaches are experienced in working with mixed-ability groups. Every player gets individual attention and leaves each session having worked hard and improved.

If your child is hesitant or new to basketball, the camps are an excellent way to try the sport without the commitment of joining a weekly training programme. Many of our current Sharks players first came to us through a holiday camp.
